Publication policy of EuReCCa

EuReCCa – publication group: publications initiated by the EuReCCa steering committee

The partner centers who express interest to participate at EuReCCa, will be asked to agree with the following definition of “authors” (criteria as proposed by International Committee of Medical Journal Edition (ICMJE):

  • Substantial contributions to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work; AND
  • Make critical comments as user on the registry platform with the aim to improvement; AND
  • To be ready to read and comment the papers before submission within the time frame of 1 week
  • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

All participants who comply with the four criteria as listed above are eligible to be considered “authors” by EuReCCa steering committee. Those participants who do not comply to the four criteria will be acknowledged as “contributors” in publications derived from the EuReCCa data bank.

The members of the EuReCCa steering committee are per definition eligible to be authors. The first author of the papers initiated by EuReCCa Steering Committee will be responsible for the Ethical Committee approval of his/her country.

Publication policy of partner centers

The partner centra are free to publish their own data without the approval of EuReCCa steering committee and thereby are responsible to apply for the Ethical Committee approval of their country.
